Actually, they have lived up to the expectations every year except 2006 when they were favored to win the title.
The question is who would the voters rank higher if LSU beats UGA but they both end up 10-2. Assume Vandy and Ole Miss go undefeated and play each other in the SEC Championship game.
Will UGA's brutal schedule carry more weigh for voters than the head to head?
Who cares about LSU and UGA! If Ole Miss wins the SEC I will never hear the end of it from my friends there. So please, LSU, UGA, or UF win the SEC, for my sake at least...
