Almost every college junior with pro aspirations does this to find out their stock. They have nothing to lose by doing this. They'll either pull out if they don't like their draft position or stay in if they do. Most likely, both will return to Columbia. This is NOT a big deal.

What are they going to learn that they don't already know? One of them is not even a starter at Mizzou. I suppose there's no harm in it, but why not spend the time working on getting better or taking care of academics?

They need to get the education because free rides only happen once a lifetime.  They wouldn't get drafted.  I hope for the best for them.

Almost every college junior with pro aspirations does this to find out their stock.Um, that's nowhere near a true statement.  The vast majority of NCAA players have pro "aspirations" but its a tiny minority who declare for the draft.

its just pointless. this cant be anything more than to make themselves feel important. neither has a shot whatsoever of getting signed by an nba team. they wont be drafted, and going out this year would undoubtedly be a mistake. and there is NO question about it, you dont need to test the waters to know that. just dont see the point.

LMAO!! Misery players getting drafted that weren't even good, what a joke.

This is just them listening too much to the people around them.  You just know all their boys are filling their heads with how good they are and it is catering to their egos.  If Leo shows some heart next season, quits pouting and plays all season like he did towards the end of the year...he might have a chance.

Demare is a high energy player that gets a lot of hustle points.  He won't get drafted this year or next.

Let them go "test the waters".  It will hopefully be a wake up call and they realize they have a lot more work to do to get better.

If that is the case, then I wonder whether Missouri should even want them back.  This just proves that these players are in it for themselves and do not even care to play for Mizzou.  Let's go out and get some players that actually want to play at Mizzou.
