Just because Flacco didn't match your mock draft, doesn't mean he will be a bust. Prisco even had him as one of his best small school talents, but since he went before Prisco's heart throb Brohm Prisco is writing a hissy fit article. Making such distinct judgments could come back to bite Prisco if Flacco turns out decent. Why is Prisco so hard on Flacco when the kid wasn't a big time prospect until Prisco and the media made him into one?

Prisco is bitter because he wishes he could be where these young men are: in a position to make a lot of money in a small number of years and is jealous and thus spews bitter grapes.

On the subject of Flacco, I was under the impression that once he "found" himself at Delaware, he exhibited a very strong work ethic, an ethic than when coupled with his natural attributes should serve him very well in the NFL. I am rooting for him.

Actually, I think Prisco makes an interesting comparison here.  I know everybody has a great time bashing him, and I know that I've had my fair share of Prisco-bashing posts, but this time I think Prisco makes a good point.  While only time will tell if Flacco has the intangibles to separate him from Boller, it is actually an erie comparison.  I would love nothing more than to have Prisco proven wrong here, but for once I would like to congratulate Prisco on an interesting and pretty well thought out point.

ps.  go ahead an bash me too, i know you want to

I think Prisco is wrong 99% of the time, however this might be that 1%. I think 18 for Flacco is a reach, I to think Brohm, Henne, Woodson, John-David, will all be better QB's. I think anyone taking lightly that this kid ran from the competition at Pitt to go play D-IAA is seriously laking in the understanding of what it takes to be an NFL QB. I can assure you that Boller & Troy Smith will not roll over and hand Flacco the starting job. If Flacco could not take the competition at Pitt what makes anyone think he can handle competition from another 1st rounder & a Heisman winner. Anyone ever heard of Ryan "crying" Leaf, he had great size and a rocket arm. Flacco reminds me of Leaf. For Baltimore's sake I hope Flacco proves the doubters wrong.
