Brennan is not an NFL QB by any stretch of the imagination. Being a Texas fan i have watched Texas tech produce QBs with crazy numbers in a spread offense, and this is in the big 12 not the WAC, or against the worst team in the PAC-10 last year. Hodges, Simmons, and Kingsbury all produced big numbers against better talent and they never cut it at the next level. Scouts know this now after watching spread offense backs struggle at the next level, bc the defense is bigger and faster and the gimmick plays that kill college defenses turn into picks and fumbles with pressure. This became evident in the Georgia game where without time and against quick dbs he was 22/38 with no tds and 3 picks and was sacked for a net of -38 yards rushing. Small spread offense QBs dont cut it, thank god your team didnt pick a guy that would barely make the taxi squad.
