Here is a quick thought and Question. Lets assume that John Paxson does not trade the pick, which is very likely, then who should he draft?

Size never hurts, so I'd say love here. But all those people that voted Eric Gordon, do you guys not realize that guy has to look over his shoulder every time he enters the state of illinois? If Pax takes him, then wow, he needs to get the Ax just for that.

I voted Jordan. I know he will be a project, but the Bulls need another big as well as another PG. I would rather draft Jordan as a project since there is not a "can't miss" PG available at 9.
I think this kid (Jordan) has alot of potential that could be helpful in a year or so. He is a good rebounder and shot blocker. Is very athletic and runs the floor very well in transition, and can finish with monster dunks.
The 2 areas he needs to develope are his post game and his mid range shot. I really think he is worth taking at #9.
The next PG the Bulls aquire, MUST be that "can't miss" PG i am talking about. It's time to quit wasting time on potential when it comes to PG, and get a good one NOW!

We already have two of these in Tyrus Thomas and Joakim Noah....we don't need another one.

We need a back-up PG. It is that simple. Rose will be gone with the 1st or 2nd pick, so that leaves D.J. Augustin. Nothing great but should fill a hole when Ben Gordon leaves. Pick up a soild free agent and sign Avery Johnson to coach and we are back in the playoffs next year.

Lottery is next week. We are just making predictions as to what pick we think the Bulls will get. What good is a pick though if we do not even have a coach. The coach boat sailed out of town last week.

We do need a guard that distributes We need more.... a guard that is a threat to penetrate and score. That opens up the lanes for distribution. We have a team full of guards and, like Garnett, not a closer among them. Do not get me wrong, I like Garnett. I think he is a Hall of Fame Player. If I had to chose however between Gasol and Garnett.....well tough choice. Age difference? Maybe plays a part. But they say with age comes expierence. Back to the Bulls. We need a penatrator who is a definite threat to score and if stopped has eyes everywhere to dish and destroy.

Would Kevin Love seriously be available at the 9 spot> ??! If he would be i would not trade up because I think he would probably help the Bulls the MOST out of ANY player in the draft.

I think Love could very well be there at the 9th pick. He is a strong second choice for me. I really depends if we trade away a big and need a PF, or if we let Ben Gordon and Chris Duhon walk then we will need a back-up PG.

I voted Russell Westbrook because I do not think Eric Gordon or Kevin Love will be available at 9. Russell is probably the best defensive point guard in the draft. I got a feeling the kid is going to be this year's sleeper and could be really valuable to the Bulls as a compelement to Ben Gordon. Listed at 6'3 he's already a good defender with the potential to be great. Defense was a major problem last year so that | |
