According to most Boston Fans, Pierce was going to come out and drop 40+ points on us tonight because of Al Horford’s taunting. He didn’t even score half of 40!

What happened to the youngest, most disrespected team in the NBA getting dominated? Atlanta only shot 23% from the arc while Boston shot a VERY respectful 52%, but we still found a way to beat them. Can we get some R.E.S.P.E.C.T. now?
Lets see…Joe Johnson went nuts tonight scoring 35 points (20 in the 4 th ) with Josh Smith beside him putting up 28 with 7 blocks (including a key block on your boy KG).

Oh and guess what? Horford still had 13 rebounds (which is more than anyone from the Celtics). Like I said two days ago when we beat Boston the first time, the Celtics better WATCH OUT. Don’t overlook us just because we have a young team and crappy coach. We are a team to be reckoned with.

We’ll see you all in Boston for game five. Get the popcorn ready and GO Hawks!

Uh, Celtics fans, I hope your team was not watching Mavericks highlights before getting ready for the playoffs. They should win at home, but they are making this interesting and also are wiping out the original premise that the Eastern winner would get to the finals pretty much rested. The Lakers are about to mop up their operation, and no matter the outcome of the Spurs/Suns, even if it goes six or seven, the Celtics getting pushed could even the odds.
(If the Lakers roll into the western conference finals, they would be the favorite, because they're playing better than the Celts right now).

Sorry about the thread guys. Here's how it's supposed to look:

According to most Boston Fans, Pierce was going to come out and drop 40+ points on us tonight because of Al Horford's taunting. He didn't even score half of 40!

What happened to the youngest, most disrespected team in the NBA getting dominated? Atlanta on shot 23% from the arc while Boston shot a VERY respectful 52%, but we still found a way to beat them. Can we get some R.E.S.P.E.C.T. now?

Kudos to the Hawks for playing a gritty physical game and making their shots down the stretch. The were all but dead after the 3rd quarter but Joe Johnson and his twenty points in the 4th Q was the difference.

I do have to say there should a bit more balance in the officiating in Boston....I like watching physical b-ball but when one team is blatently running into guys and not getting the charge call makes you wonder what the hell was going on. Like the guy on the TNT broadcast said...the only way a Celtic is going to get the charge call is if they leave sneaker marks on the floor from getting blown over.

Hey..that is how the Hawks HAVE to play to have a chance and they did it. 2 games in a row they roughed up the C's and the officials let them play. I like the way the Hawks coach really gets on these kids....guy has a way of keeping them focused and even if they lose this series Atlanta looks like they have something here with these young guys.

Back to Boston for Round 5.....C's and Pistons have their wake-up calls...lets see what happens.

I always knew Joe Johnson was good, but I never really saw him play at this level. I look forward to the rest of the series, it has proven to be much more interesting then I thought it would.

I'm not here to bash any team..........especially on of the caliber of the Celtics.

Just proud of my Atlanta Hawks..........As a fan that's been die-hard through the good and (mostly) bad of the Hawks. It's nice to see the franchise headed in a positive direction.

Joe Johnson, Josh Smith, Al Horford, Mike Bibby, Josh Childress, Marvin Williams, Zaza Pachulia, Acie Law

GO HAWKS!!! Larry Brown t
