Ahmad Brooks has been accussed of punching a Florence woman in the face following a dispute near the womans home. How surprising is this considering Brooks' background?

Where are the Bengals fans that were all over the Steelers board saying Harrison should be cut, and most of us agreed.  My point is these same fans aren't screaming for Brooks head.  I guess it is okay when it happens to one of your players, but let a Steeler get arrested and the horns come out.  By the way, personally I don't care if the Bengals keep Brooks or not!

Here's one.  If he did strike the woman, cut him and throw him in the slammer.  Fan or not, I don't condone that kind of act.

I am so fed up of seeing NFL players in the news for things like this. The players are letting their money and fame get the better of them and believe they are above the law. Coaches need to sort out their players and punish them severly for such disgusting acts so that every other player in the league knows the consequences. The NFL should be making respectable men out of these boys, making them give back to the communities that got them where they are not actling spoilt thugs.

Not surprising...and should be GONE if guilty.  It isn't acceptable no matter who you are.  I simply don't understand the mentality of some of these guys.  If I was given the chance to play in the NFL...making that kind of money...you would literally see the halo beaming above my head.

The alleged incident occured over three weeks ago. Why the h@)) did it take that long to be reported if it really happened????  I think we should hold judgement until the true facts come out. We have to remember that sometimes the accussed may actually be the victim when money can be persued.

Here's my point.  Harrison's charges were dropped, but he admitted it, so I think he should be cut.  Unfortunately these guys have money, so they can buy there way out of these things.  I say cut them all!  Let the Cowboys pick them up, their owner has no morals.

That's the problem, as much as fans like us would like to see someone cut, the last thing you want is to see that player on another team playing against you. Its easy for teams to cut problem players that aren't good (both the Bengals and Steelers have done it), but when they have talent they put up with more (re: Odell, Harrison, Henry, and now Perriloux at LSU). Its all a mess, and I still don't know how some people have such a hard time staying clean.

I'm never surprised if a Bengals player is accused of something.  I've seen so many people arrested on the Bengals that it's just sad.  I think that if a player on the Bengals is found guilty of anything then they are gone.  No ifs, ands, or, buts about it.
