I agree that they should have picked Brohm over Flacco - they wouldn't have even needed to sacrifice any draft picks for him and couldn't have got him in the second round. However, it's not the worst stable of QBs anyone can remember - Atlanta last year after Vick was kicked off takes the biscuit (Redman and Harrington??).
At least, this stable has potential - I say give it to Smith. He has the intangibles that make him, and consequently his team, a winner. However, I think the Ravens organisation will be averse to doing so because the playbook would need to be refined slightly to accomodate his style of play. Flacco fits much better than Troy Smith without too much readjustment - but Brohm would have fit far better than either of them.
