Colorado SUCKS- Beautiful to see their FAILURE

Avs fans in large are not whining. We know we got our asses handed to us butt then again this is a good young team that is a good goaltender away from being a true cup contender.

I'm proud of our guys.

i'm assuming you're talking about pierre lacroix? he may be president, but francois giguere is the one that controls the trades and free agents and stuff. he may not have been the one that got theodore, but he doesn't control who starts either. thats on quenneville. i suppose i'm game for a new goalie, but Dan Ellis? he's unproven ( no, beating out Chris Mason isn't considered proven) and as far as anyone knows he's a flavor of the week, kinda like chris mason lol.

The difference between real Avs fans and the standard Red Wings fan is that we understand what happened in the series.  It's true that Detroit smoked us all year long, but the Avs never really had their full compliment of players either during the regular season or in the playoff series.  You guys dominated our JV team...no doubt about it.

The Avs were without the following guys due to injury or illness for all or part of the series:

Peter Forsberg, Paul Stastny, Ryan Smyth, Wojtek Wolski, Jose Theodore, Scott Hannan, Marek Svatos, and Brett Clark.

I assume that if the Avs were close to 100% healthy for the series and the Red Wings had been without Zetterberg, Datsyuk, Franzen, Holmstrom, Osgood, Rafalski, Filpula, and Lidstrom, the results would have been substantialy different.  Not an excuse, just an explanation.
