I am not WORRIED about Virginia, BUT

We have to fly 3,000 miles to play game ONE.

(What if it was a low scoring game at the half?)

It's only game one.  MOST OF THESE OTHER POWERHOUSES (SEC TEAMS) WILL NEVER EVEN GET ON A PLANE, MUCH LESS PLAY 3,000 MILES AWAY ON GAME ONE.

So I am concerned.

Ohio State = Major Blow Out.  Let's face it, everybody knows that.  Most of all Ohio State fans.

But IF we beat Virginia, I would think a home game against tOSU would be sort of like when we spank Notre Dame or UM, in So Cal...

But to travel to Oregon State for week 3 is far more of a concern than visiting Ohio State in week 2.

Sorry about the honesty.

Sorry about the honesty.

Why do you take everything so seriously/personaly?  All I was saying is that I don't think your team will have any problem with Virginia.  Gee-wiz, papa.

We play out west almost every other year! Cal last year, UCLA this one and at Oregon in three years. Not to mention we played Notre Dame, Ohio St is scheduled as is Oklahoma! So read a little before you open your big ignorant mouth. And if you consider Virginia competition then you are in for a very long season!

I cannot believe that you are more worried about a very average team on the road (Virginia) than a proven powerhouse over the last decade at home.  Over the past few years, ohio state has one bad loss, that being to illinois last yr.  No one in the country has the that kind of track record for the past 5 seasons.  I really believe that this USC-OSU game will be a great game, and I am excited for it. I worry for the USC fans who take OSU lightly.

Don't worry. Be happy! At least one set of the most obnoxious fans in the land will cry in their beer for a few days.

I think too many people gaze too much on the fact that OSU lost the last 2 bowl games. Well, so what? That doesn't mean anything. This year they will be a much better team because these kids have played together and now they know what it takes to get the to the title game and also win it. They know they must win every game, and to do that they have to play focused and smart, no matter who they play. Last year's weird streak of upsets will not happen again. They will have to run the table, but I think anyone who thinks they cannot do that because they have USC on the slate are real silly.
