The team sucks for most of its existence, then we find out that they cheated to win.  It's sad that Pats fans are rationalizing this by saying that "nothing new was found."  Your team made a habit of cheating.  Everyone knew it, and now it's confirmed.  Where do you guys get off defending that "nothing new happened"?  Does that make you feel better about your pack of cheaters?  Is this the model of sportsmanship that you want to demonstrate to your kids?

Your run is over.  The NFL can't afford to have cheaters win.  It's bad for PR and it's bad for Las Vegas.  So why don't you pack up your tarnished rings and go back to wherever you were before you jumped on the bandwagon.  Boston isn't a football town.  It never was, and it never will be.

NEWS FLASH!!!

Belichick already admitted to filming opposing teams from unauthorized locations as far back as 2000, when he first came to New England.  Do you understand that?  This is not news at all, as it was highly publicized when Belichick first talked to Goodell about it.

F&$kin' MORON!

Do you understand facts?  Truth maybe?  How does Walsh turning in tapes of something that has already been admitted to prove anything at all?  The guilty party already admitted to it and punishment was already doled out.  What more is there to say?  I think you're just upset that there IS NO TAPE OF THE Rams WALKTHROUGH!

You do know that defensive signals are given infront of tens of thousands of people right?  Anyone can watch the coaches and see them giving signals if they want to.  You'd have to be incredibly naive to believe that no other team observes these signals and tries to decipher them.  So the staff filmed them from an unauthorized location.  It doesn't mean they were seeing something that no one else could.  Wake up and smell the coffee!

I couldn't care less what ESPN or any other sensationalist media outlet says.  The burden of proof lies with the accuser at this point.  So far all we've seen is evidence being turned in that confirms nothing further than what was already admitted to and punished for.  The media can harp on it all they want but at the end of the day, there is nothing added to this story.  Give it a rest!

"This is consistent with what the Patriots had admitted they had been doing, consistent with what we already knew," NFL spokesman Greg Aiello told the Associated Press. That's in plain English, in case you haven't been able to comprehend what I've been trying to tell you...

You Pats fans are #1 - at making excuses.

Also - regarding the "Nothing is known that wasn't known."  Really?  They taped Miami's offensive signals, as well.  This morning's NY Post, page 144 will explain it all for you.  I mean, come on.  You had to tape Miami?  Miami?

One thing that's for sure is that Steelers fans aren't "just bitter" about losing that AFC Championship game.  Sure, we wanted to win.  But above all else, Steelers fans know the game of football.  While New Englanders are raised to play soccer, tennis, and other girls / country club sports, Pittsburghers grow up playing football.  I bet the average 12 year old from Pittsburgh knows more about football than the average guy that calls himself a Pats fan.

The Pats are a great team.  Everyone knows that.  The POINT - if you guys can get it through your soccer-playing brains, is that it's a shame to tarnish that with cheating.  Who knows what would have happened otherwise?

Anyway, we have 5 Lombardi trophies.  Call me when you guys hit 6 and maybe Steelers fans might have a reason to be jealous of Pretty Boy Brady and his cheater of a coach.

How much time have you actually spent in New England ? Do you know ANYTHING about NE philosophy or schools ?

I dunno about all of it. But my hometown, and my high school, was ABOVE ALL ELSE a FOOTBALL town, and a FOOTBALL school....

Listen you want to be an ignorant and insulting FAN go for it...

But stereotyping and insulting an ENTIRE REGION ? You can go FU!@#%@#% YOURSELF.

I've never grown up with any other sport stressed more to me in my life than FOOTBALL.

You watch those stupid teen movies that have the football towns and football schools like varsity blues or w/e. My town is more football than those towns, and those towns don't even exist in real life...

Come here insult the Pats, they're players, coaches, organization all you want.

Insult my people, my region, my home, my place of birth....

Than you've proved your foolishness beyond all reasonable doubt.

Hey SuperMario

I have lived in New England all my life.  My earliest memories are of my whole neighborhood coming over every sunday to watch the Patriots play.  I watch every game every season.  I played football from second grade all the way through high school.  I now go to every Umass Football game and guess what, I don't know a thing about soccer so don't tell me New Englanders don't care about football.  I live and breathe football.  I can dissect plays, I can read formations.  New England may not be a primarily football area, but there is a devout following here for the pats.  Also if you know anything about this area then you would know that no one cares about soccer and tennis.  We have the Red Sox, Celtics, Bruins and Patriots.  Between those four teams we have 31 championships.  That beats the snot out of your five lombardi trophys.  Why don't you come spend some actual time in new england talk to some actual peopl and then come back and make comments when you actually  have a clue.

Wow.  You watch UMass football?  It took me a second to think if I had ever seen UMass play football, and then I realized it's because I don't watch Division I-AA.  Most PA HS football is better than that.

I went to the UMass website to double-check, and there's a picture of a big, strong woman hitting a softball.  Apparently, that's the face of UMass athletics.  Like I said, you guys excel in the girls sports.

And this rich history of football in New England you're talking about is just such a bunch of crap.  HS football is a joke in NE.  Prove me wrong by having a team in the USA Today Top 25.  NOT A SINGLE TEAM FROM MASS, VT, NH, RI, CT, or ME was even in the top 25 last year.  The city of Pittsburgh alone had 2.  Not to mention the fact that the #1 overall recruit in the United States, Tyrelle Prior, went to HS just outside of Pittsburgh.

Keep believing your own BS, that's what makes you a Pats apologist in the first place.
