I think Nowitzki could be the most over rated player in the league.  He can shoot it, but he is a huge liability on defense and he does not play like he is 7 feet tall which is good and bad.  The Warriors need a guy like Paul Milsap from Utah.  I guy who can get up and down and plays bigger than his size.  I would not mind Brand, but Nowitzki is not my cup of tea and I would hate to see Wright go.  I think he has way to much upside to let go right now.

WOW REALLY

PAUL MILSAP?????? OVER DIRK?????

yea i guess your just a MORON

hey its a good thing your the general manager!!!

you cant be serious if you think Dirk is over rated

season after season he puts up the same consistant amazing numbers

yes he has had his flaws but lets face it everyone has their ups in downs.

for example he rose to the challange of the Hornets this year unfortunantly his team did not

please show me how hes over rated

PAUL MILSAP?????? OVER DIRK?????

If we were just talking about adding one of these guys to the team for the exact same salary and not changing anything on their roster--then there is no way Milsap helps more than Dirk.

But in the world of reality, the Warriors are not going to get a player like Dirk without giving up some pieces no matter how you slice it (be it free agency or a trade).

With Milsap, he is simply a guy who would give a lot of what the Warriors are lacking and not come at too heavy of a price.  This is why he is somewhat of a realistic guy to go after in my mind, because they have a decent shot at getting him somehow while still keeping Monta, Baron, Stack Jack, and Biedrins.  I have a hard time seeing them get Dirk in any fashion without having to trade or withhold re-signing one of those guys.

HEY NOBRAINESS07,

I did not say that I thought Milsap was better than Dirk.  I just meant that giving up what you would have to give up for DIrk or giving up what you would have to give up for Milsap, I would rather add Milsap than Dirk.

Rose to the challenge of the Hornets???  They lost 4-1!!!  MORON!

Nowitzki doesn't have anything close to a consistent effort at a lower post game - he did it well for a short period a few years ago and then totally abandoned it. He's mostly a jump shooter which the Warriors already have plenty of (albeit with shorter guys).

The Warriors don't need more jump shooters - especially spending a lot of moolah on one.
The Warriors need someone who can score down low - I don't care how tall he is.

And for the Warriors current system and needs - a guy like Milsap is hands down better than Dirk. Additionally, Dirk would get too tired playing the Warriors pace.
