Wow, you guys are great! When you got KG and Allen I knew you guys would be the best in the east but not by this much! I know people say the west is better and I would agree ( but I'm a little bias) but you guys are so much better than anybody in the east and better than most western conf. teams. If you guys play my Lakers I think that would be an awesome matchup! Good luck! hope to see you guys against the Lakers in the finals.

We can maybe make a case that the Celtics are better than all of the West teams.  The Lakers were playing pretty good ball before gasol and with bynum and the celtics crushed them both times.  They are 25-5 against the west and swept the season series with the Lakers(with bynum in gasol not there), Spurs, Mavs, Rockets.  They've blown out 3/4 remaining west playoff teams at least once. The only one they haven't blown out was Utah, but they beat the Jazz at their home court and gave them one of their 4 home losses.

If they get to the finals, they are going to be the favorites to win.  Playoff experience is overrated, either you're good or you're not.  Chris Paul is making people look silly defending him.

I'll say one thing though, kobe is playing so much better now that he has some role players.  He doesnt force anything he makes incredible passes, he defends well.  He is the best player in the league.  If Lebron had the help, he would likely be doing the same but he doesn't.  He has to take the shots like kobe did after shaq and it wasnt always pretty to watch.

Congrat..to the team, you support: Lakers are a fine team, but before they meet best team in the playoffs: The Boston Celtics..A worthy challenger: The N. O. Hornets could end dreams off: Laker NBA title, no doubt   Laker fans spoiled by, sweep of Denver Nuggets, and the MVP Kobe exceeding their expectations, see the road to glory, I must remind them, The Dallas Mavs also over looked the Hornets: Still the so called hoops experts: like Dr Ramsey state: LBJ is playing below his standard, could it be because The Celts Have The Best Defense In The Playoffs.

The c's D is is locked in. I'm not sure if the Lakers can do much better against the C's. Gasol is a low-end superstar and is extremely soft. Bynum still needs to prove himself. The Lakers had it easy against the Nuggets because they gave up. Its going to get much more difficult from here;.

I made a thread in your Laker board about hoping to see you in the finals. Nothing can get better than Lakers vs the Celtics, a fast pace offence vs a shut down defence, that couldn't get any better, and as somebody else in your laker board was saying, who would want to see a Jazz - Magic matchup in the finals. One of us will win in secen, and 4 games will be decided by less than 5 points. I'm excited to see a Kevin Garnett vs Lamar Odom matchup. I'm really scared of that kobe vs Ray Allen matchup because ray allen hasn't yet proved that he can play defence.

Big Game Today!!!!

Ok K St. Fan, I love your picture...looks like a playmate.

As a huge Celtics fan, I am so sick of hearing how the Celts have not proved anything on the road.  Sure they had a rough time with Atlanta, but in my opinion the Hawks will be in the playoffs for a long time with that young team.

The Celtics need this win today for 2 reasons:

  1. Stomp out any confidence the Cavs may gain with a win.
  2. Quiet all those critics who think the Celtics can't win a plyaoff road game.

My guess is a 10-point win.  Lebron will go off for around 30, but with no help.  The bid 3 will combine for 70 points in the WIN.

Go Celts!!!!!

I for one would love to see a Lakers/Celtics final....shades of the 80's.
