Im suprised that anyone would do this thats just terrible that somebody would steal and use a credit card  that belonged to a guy who died. can any football players stay out of trouble during the off season. there should be a new criteria for judging the top 25 recruiting class, returning players, and the team with the fewest arrests.

I agree with wwjd12.  A message needs to be sent.  It seems like some athletes never grow up and think they are totally invincible.  This guy is like so many other misguided youths that fill out a mans body.  Disrespect is the key issue.  The bar should be set so much higher.  Some even make it past the first level of college ball and become lost souls of the pros.  The real problem is our society and its values (or lack there of).

And I would have to say to the overall question that I am not surprised.  I am not surprised that any football player or human being would do something like this.  And if anyone is you don't know jack about sports or the world we live in today.

LOL.............An FSU fan defending the guy.  I am not a high and mighty Golden Domer BTW..............just expect more than that out of college athletes.  But, what would you know, you team couldn't even play  in it's bowl game due to practically the entire team CHEATING.........very moral programs you guys run there in the state of Florida.  Pretty sad when the most ethical program in the state is Miami!  LOL

What exactly is a poster anyway?  I think ALL schools should hold their players to a high standard regalrdless of where they play.  Hopefully UF will run the guy out of town.  Notre Dame has had it's share of trouble too.  Not saying they are better than anyone and not saying it is the school.  But, there are WAY too many thugs in college sports today and it has go to end soon or they will ruin the game about like the pros have.  I love it when people get sooooo wrapped up and fired up over an opinion that differs from their own.

You're making yourself look like a pretty inept college football fan with that statement. There are more than three Division I football teams in the state of Florida. Fans of UCF, USF and FAU would probably take issue with that statement.

That post was directed at june61992 who starter this thread, not you.

We still almost beat the Wildcats even without all of those guys. And if you're naive enough to think that cheating doesn't go on throughout D-I just like these incidents then you've got your head buried in the sand. Guys don't magically go from barely qualifying on their SAT or ACT to a 3.0 in college because they decided it was time to study.
