Bravo DavePA for letting another idiot writer know that intelligent sportsfans don`t buy into the (Tiger Effect) since we all know that with orwithout Tiger pro golf is alive and well.Just last week for 5 days the Wachovia crowds were unreal and I know this Elling because I was there in person and not typing some made up hogwash on the internet.You writers with your Tiger crap want the tour to close up shop if he doesn`t play or concoct some lie about business being off (like Woods would really care if you buy a Ping hat or not).He`s the #1 player in the world and that is to be respected but it is a breath of fresh air to see golf on tv and actually see some other guys hit shots instead of watching his every move.Maybe instead Elling the real reason might be that 100 bucks or more a week of gasoline people put in their autos or maybe if the vendors didn`t gouge and want 75 bucks for a dayglo coloredJ Parnevik golf shirt fans may buy some things.But like Dave said if you try really hard,you may be able to write an article about someone else instead of sniffing Tiger`s drawers all the time!
