I like your insight into a very complex problem, which is, "why is this the next to the worst team in the American League?" and how do we start to win.  Big hopes have faded and maybe we ALL bought into the hype of 110 W's and 1000 runs.  Maybe the team wil get some "CHE" and win 10 straight. It could, ya when pigs fly.

Actually i remember it very well...i was 6 but i remember it. I watched all the games with my old man. I got Alan Trammell and Chet Lemon's autograph back then...still have the cards. I had the Poster of Lance Parrish with the Tiger in it forever.(wish i still had it) I remember Johnny Wockenfuss well(since you bring him up) my dad lobed JW..because of his ability to always come through with the hit and run.  I can still name almost the whole 84 team off the top of my head...dh Darrell Evans DH Dave Bergman 1b Sweet lou 2nd, Tram ss ....Little Tommy Brookens 3rd,  OF Gibby, Lemon, Herndon, Lance catching.....starting 5...Morris, petry, Terell,.......im forgeting some now.....Lopez and Wille  in relief.....damn....................who are the other starters...........ones easy but i cant remember.

PS sorry about your wife....bummer...your unhappiness shows up in your postings.

Once it starts getting about 80 degrees on a constant basis the Tigers should start mashing the ball all over the park.  By the end of May the Tigers will be in first place in the AL Central.

Just with not as many allstars for this year as some may have thought.

Its only a matter of time guys.
