As I recall, Cutcliffe came in and took UT to the SEC title game and was praised for his return to Tennessee. the thing is..........WHO throws a flat pass against LSU defenders in the SEC title game when you have control of the game and about to go to the BCS bowl games? plus, i never praised him for coming back. i just don't like him. Good luck duke....you might wish you had Ted Roof back. OR not.

Tyler even said he felt terrible that game, yeah you did kill our o-line. PJ was only 70-80% and we still almost won. Imagine if he was 100% we would've won. if your o-line was 100% you would've won. it didn't matter how healthy your qb's were. they really couldn't do anything, because they were always eating turf.

Yea, I will agree with that about the pass into the flats. Also, had plenty of UT guys hootin and hollering about Cutcliffe coming back, so you are definitely in the minority. They were hoping he would help Ainge become a great QB, but I never thought he had the chance in the first place. I was never impressed by Ainge.

Yes, i was in the minority i guess. I was hoping Ainge would become better but i really didn't think he had all that great of a chance. I also, was not impressed with Ainge.....so you don't like Crompton? i think he could become decent and maybe lead us to a win over Florida. I just want to win 8 games next season and a bowl game.

I also, was not impressed with Ainge.....so you don't like Crompton? i think he could become decent and maybe lead us to a win over Florida. I just want to win 8 games next season and a bowl game. Yea, just off of his performance against Bama, I didnt think he was that great. 2-2, 2 TD, 7 int in his time at UT against Bama. As for JC, he didnt look great in his few throws against us last year, but who knows how he will do in a new system. His recievers will have to help him this season for sure, especially early. 8 wins isnt out of the question for sure, but that UCLA game is huge. If Phil cant win that game, it could be the beginning of the end for him in UT. It also doesnt help that UCLA doesnt have a QB now and you lose to them.

just give him some Krispy Kremes...........
i really hope this team can get 8, and like u said UCLA will be huge, and so will be opening weekend against UAB. those 2 will set the tone. Other OOC games, Wyoming, and Northern Illinois. We haven't rebounded vs. your team(Alabama) after getting crushed by you and Florida in the same year. <<<<<<<<That is what i wanna do.

There is no worry about UAB. The UA Board of Trustees royally screwed them over coach wise with Neil Calloway. They have been passed by Troy in the state in the best team rankings, so now UAB has to fend off 1-AA Samford to stay out of 5th. Also, watch out for NIU, they can beat you, just speaking from experience against them.
As far as Bama, I am hoping I have a happier ending in my second trip to Neyland. That game 2 yrs ago crushed me with the way we lost. Im also hoping to score better tickets than last time when I got stuck under the press box. It will be a good game again I think.

that game was fun. for me. Also, Northern Illinois sneaks up on everyone, so i am wanting to end the game by halftime. prolly not possible though. Wyoming will not be much of a threat.
Like i said....give Phil his Krispy Kremes and he works fine. look at 98. They prolly gave him a few dozen BOXES. i don't think they have been giving him enough.

I think Bama can contend for the SEC West, they lost a lot of games close and if they win some of those they have a chance. JPW also has to play better, then last year.
