The Stars came out firing in the 3rd period, but I think they're running out of time. Looks like we're going to have a Red Wings-Penguins final.
Whew. After the Red Wings got up three games to none, I was really starting to sweat it.

Awesome session beer as they keep tasting better and better as you go, but you have to watch yourself as it is rather strong. We used to have MANY wheat beers at the Growlers in downtown Toronto next to one of our clients locations. Hundreds of visits to that bar. Well, their in-house wheat beer was somewhat like yuo described. Sure did taste good. We'd get these large drafts (maybe 24 ounces or more). the key thing I learned over the years was ... just have three of those large drafts and then switch....or you might get a headache.

Saisons are not wheat beers, they just sare some similar characteristics when it comes to the citrus and pepper. I do love wheats, though. I have about 10 Victory Whirlwind Wits (and a growler of HopDevil) waiting for me at home from my last visit.

orncus and craig,
Thanks for the kind words....much appreciated.
Man, work makes it hard to keep up with this thread hahaha. Today I had to sit through a 4 hour meeting....and they let me out of it early.
So Lansdowne Baseball started out the season with a 9-6 loss yesterday. I played 3 1/2 innings in right field, going 0-2 with a ground out to second and a strikeout. 2-2 count and I thought to myself "You know what, he's probably going to throw a curveball.......nah, he hasn't thrown one all game." Next pitch: curveball, strike 3 hahaha.
Rained out tonight and our next scheduled game is next Thursday.
I'm sorry to all my Pens fans friends, but.....GO WINGS!!!!!!
Red, I can't get on the Thompson thread.....do we need login names now or something? Because that's what its asking me for.

Tark-I can get on Thompson. Maybe others are having the same issue. Nobody has posted recently. I know Hux is working on improvements. Maybe he's shutting it down for periods.

i have just read an article about the injuries that Hatcher and Jason Smith were playing with this season.
While Hatcher was suffering continuous knee problems, and having fluid drained out daily, it had to remind you of Yzerman's cup run in 2002. Just play with the pain.
Jason Smith is a completely different story. He was playing with two separated shoulders! Two shoulders that were not working properly! That is so hard to imagine. Then you look at how physical he played, the hits he handed out and received, the minutes he played, it is just amazing that he could keep it up for so long.
I've stated some bad things about the Flyers, but that type of effort deserves the credit! Jason Smith is a true tough man and played when most would not have and could not have.
