Ok so I have been a Browns fan all my life! That doesn't mean that I am a fan of Derek Anderson OR Kellen Winslow! First of all Derek... I don't think that DA is the answer to all of the Browns problems... or any of them for that matter! He is over-rated and will not be our starter for the entire 2008 season! He showed severe cracks under pressure and fell apart when it appeared that the Browns had an opportunity to make the playoffs! Not the kind of things I like to see in a starting QB!

Second of all Kellen... The guy hasn't played an injury free season since being drafted! For me to be in favor of redoing his contract and giving him more money he is going to have to prove himself for an entire season! The Browns have showed tremendous trust and faith in him by sticking with him through all of the injuries so far! Sure he made the pro-bowl, but pro-bowls don't lead to championships... consistant play does! I would love to see him stick around a few more years, but if he is compaining already about a contract renewal when he really hasn't done a whole lot, good riddens!

I believe that the Browns future is bright... the Browns, in my opinion, are the most improved team over the last two off seasons... CHAMPIONSHIP... HERE WE COME! GO BROWNS!

I'm not a fan of some of his antics, but I'd urge you to re-examine some of those comments about Winslow.

Sure, last season he wasn't injury-free, but while in a considerable amount of pain, he played better injured than a lot of people did healthy. He and Edwards were part of a great reception tandem. Pro-Bowls don't lead to championships, but getting selected for the Pro Bowl means his play was consistent enough to land a spot in the NFL All-Star Game. That says something for his ethic and effort.

I don't like what he's doing right now, but when he's on that field, he's played his heart out, and I'd attribute a lot of last year's offensive success to his ability to make incredibly difficult catches, playing through serious pain, and overall effort for the team.

I am not 100% sold on DA myself. I know he has some cracks or something that was evident in that Cinnci game last year. I beleive sometime this year Brady Quinn will be at the helm. The offense did good last year but more will be expected this year.

Winslow, The Browns have been understanding and patient, but they have also drafted a young T.E. They are smart. Winslow has done a great job injured and all. He has great hands and is definately a go to guy. I would hope he would look at the present situation of the Browns and what they are trying to accomplish. Great teams have great players on them. Not Greedy.
