Rockies make some moves Friday: Rockies SS Clint Barmes was assigned after Friday's game, along with outfielder Cory Sullivan and pitcher Ubaldo Jimenez to AAA Colorado Springs. The Rockies also assigned infielder Erick Almonte and pitchers Mike Gallo and Matt Herges to minor league camp. Veteran pitcher Danny Graves was released. (Updated 03/23/2007).

Fantasy Analysis
Sullivan has been average the last two seasons in Colorado. He has totaled just six homers and 60 RBI in 764 at-bats. He also has 22 stolen bases. Sullivan wasn't likely to overcome new CF Willy Taveras for the starter's job, but now that he is getting bumped by Steve Finley, that has got to sting. He is at-best a low-end, long-term keeper at this point. Jimenez is one of the Rockies' best pitching prospects. He'll be a potential contributor for deeper NL-only leagues in the second half and is worth stashing in long-term keeper leagues at this point. Almonte, Gallo and Herges shouldn't be owned in Fantasy leagues if not on the big league roster. Graves could latch on with another team, but he has no Fantasy value as a free agent.
