The Washington Post reports that the Nationals have placed Paul Lo Duca on the 15-day disabled list with a broken hand Friday. It will take four-to-six weeks for the bone to heal to the point where he can resume baseball activities. And he'll likely need a bit more time in a rehab assignment. (Updated 05/09/2008).
Injury Report
Hand - 15-day DL. Out until at least mid-June (Updated - 5/9/08)
Fantasy Analysis
No doubt, the Nationals will take their time with Lo Duca this time, since he said he came back too early from his last injury. Consider cutting him in mixed leagues, though he didn't have much appeal anyway as an aging catcher with little power. Jesus Flores, who will start in his place, has decent upside and is a nice stopgap in NL-only leagues. (Updated 05/09/2008).

Advice
Lo Duca broke the fourth metacarpal bone in his hand while batting in the seventh inning against Houston on Wednesday night. He just came off the DL last Friday after he was hit by a pitch and bruised the same hand on April 13. Lo Duca said he may have come back from the earlier injury too quickly.
