Mets 2B Luis Castillo left Sunday's game against the Reds before the sixth inning with left quadriceps discomfort. Before exiting, he had RBI triple in the first inning and also singled. He finished 2-for-3 with two runs. (Updated 05/11/2008).
Injury Report
Quadriceps - Questionable for May 12-15 series vs. Washington (Updated - 5/11/08)
Fantasy Analysis
Castillo has been a medical nightmare in 2008. Shocker. He had offseason knee surgery, but wasn't ready in time for spring training. He sat out the first few weeks before finally playing in mid-March. Castillo has been limited to 28 games this season as his knees still bother him post-surgery. Castillo has not played 150 games since 2004 and will be lucky to make it to 125 at this pace. Castillo remains a low-end Fantasy 2B. (Updated 05/11/2008).
