Wes Helms came through in just his fourth start of the year, hitting a solo home run leading off the 10th inning to lift the Florida Marlins to a 3-2 victory over the Milwaukee Brewers on Sunday. Helms hit an 0-2 pitch off Seth McClung (1-1) about five feet over the left-field wall for his first home run since last Aug. 10. Helms played the hero Sunday, but it is likely back to the bench for the veteran. The Marlins signed Helms in early April just in case Jorge Cantu didn't pan out, but as soon as the veteran third baseman came on board, Cantu got hot at the plate. Helms is still just a backup corner infielder for Florida and doesn't have much Fantasy value at this time. (Updated 04/27/2008).
