Balfour scoops up eighth hold: Rays RP Grant Balfour picked up his eighth hold of the season during Monday's 6-4 win against the Angels despite allowing one run in 1 1/3 innings in relief of Andy Sonnanstine. He allowed two hits and struck out two before giving way to Chad Bradford. Dan Wheeler closed out the win for his sixth save.

Fantasy Analysis

Many thought Balfour would be the guy to close out games for the Rays with Troy Percival on the DL, but Wheeler has closed out the last two games and Balfour has worked in middle relief. Balfour could get some save chances in Joe Maddon's closer-by-committee approach and still remains a Fantasy viable middle reliever.
