The Sports Xchange reports that Phillies SP Kris Benson has resumed playing long-toss but there's no timetable for him to return to the mound, assistant GM Ruben Amaro Jr. said. Benson, who is attempting to come back from right rotator cuff surgery in March 2007, strained his groin during a start in extended spring training two weeks ago.
