Fausto Carmona gave Cliff Lee a tough act to follow. Carmona pitched a five-hitter for Cleveland's second consecutive shutout over the struggling Toronto Blue Jays, a 3-0 victory in Monday's doubleheader opener. Lee, 6-0 with a major league-leading 0.81 ERA, started the second game for the Indians. Carmona (4-1) walked four in his second shutout and third complete game in 47 big league starts. With Scott Rolen on first and one out in the fourth, Matt Stairs lined a single to right and Ben Francisco made a one-hop throw to third baseman Casey Blake to retire Rolen. With two on and two outs in the seventh, first baseman Ryan Garko made a diving backhand stop of a sharp grounder hit by Joe Inglett, then flipped to Carmona covering for the inning-ending out.
