Neshek moves to 60-day DL: The Minneapolis Star-Tribune reports that the Twins have claimed LHP Craig Breslow off waivers from Cleveland Thursday, and he will join the team in time for Fridays game against the Yankees. This will give the Twins two left-handed relievers, allowing them to protect lefty Dennys Reyes from getting overused. To make room on the 40-man roster, the Twins transferred Pat Neshek (strained elbow) to the 60-day disabled list. (Updated 05/29/2008).
Injury Report
Elbow - 60-day DL. Out for the season (Updated - 5/29/08)
Fantasy Analysis
Neshek went 7-2 with a 2.94 ERA, a .183 batting average against and 74 strikeouts while throwing 70 1/3 innings last season, his first as the primary setup man. He had weakness in his shoulder last September, but he's never had an injured elbow before. Obviously, he doesn't deserve a roster spot in Fantasy right now. (Updated 05/29/2008).
