Hansen tosses scoreless inning: According to The Sports Xchange notes: RHP Craig Hansen was visited by the trainers during his relief stint in the eighth inning because he felt a twinge in the groin area but remained in the game. Hansen pitched a scoreless inning after allowing a combined seven runs in just one-third of an inning in his previous two appearances. He received a warning from plate umpire Angel Campos after hitting Nate Schierholtz with a pitch in a game in which four Pirates had been plunked without any of the Giants' pitchers being warned.
