Fantasy Analysis
Floyd has been solid when in the Rays lineup, but he continues to be an injury-prone player and it might only be a matter of time before he is back on the shelf. That, coupled with the fact he is still sharing at-bats with Eric Hinske and Jonny Gomes, makes Floyd more of an AL-only Fantasy option. (Updated 05/15/2008).
In his second game back, Floyd had two hits in the Rays' 2-1, 11-inning win over the Yankees on Tuesday. (Updated 05/14/2008)
Advice
Floyd is 4-for-8 with two RBIs since coming off the DL because of right knee surgery. He has hit safely in all six games he's played this season, batting .391 (9-for-23) with two home runs and seven RBIs.
