With the Dodgers leading 4-0, Jeremy Hermida's run-scoring single in the fifth accounted for the Marlins' only run.
"I didn't think that would be our only run," said Hermida, who has reached base in 11 of his past 12 games, "but Billingsley did a good job. Sometimes, you have to give the other guy credit."
Loney's bases-loaded triple off Taylor Tankersley highlighted a four-run seventh inning as the Dodgers put the game away.
"It was just one of those games," Hermida said, "but we play again in about 13 hours. After one like this, the sooner you can play again, the better."
