SS Erick Aybar (bruised left pinky) was hit by a pitch and left the May 9 game. He will be re-evaluated on May 10.
1B Casey Kotchman (groin tightness) sat out May 7. He is expected to return to action May 9.
UT Chone Figgins (mild hamstring strain) was injured May 3 and missed games May 4-7. He is unlikely to play before May 12.
RHP Dustin Moseley (right forearm soreness) went on the 15-day disabled list retroactive to May 2. He is scheduled to make a rehab appearance on May 12 with Class A Rnacho Cucamonga.
INF Maicer Izturis (lower back spasms) went on the 15-day disabled list retroactive to April 28. He was scheduled to play five innings in a rehab assignment in Class A Rancho Cucamonga May 11 and could be activated May 12.
2B Howie Kendrick (strained left hamstring) went on the 15-day disabled list retroactive to April 14. He joined Class A Rancho Cucamonga for a rehab stint May 4. He felt stiffness in his hamstring May 6, which could slow his return to the Angels.
RHP Kelvim Escobar (torn labrum in right shoulder) opened the season on the 15-day disabled list, and he was transferred to the 60-day DL on May 1. He restarted his throwing program April 23, and he was making progress as of May 1.
RHP John Lackey (strained triceps) opened the season on the 15-day disabled list. He began a minor league rehab assignment on April 24, and he is scheduled to make his final tune-up start May 9 in extended spring training. Lackey could make his season debut for the Angels as soon as May 14.
