Let me guess, after riping the hell out of Soriano up until this week and half of the Cubs faithful on here wanting him traded, you all love Alfonso and hope he stays a Cub forever.
Still think he should be batting leadoff? That seems like a lot of wasted HR's with nobody on base.
P.S. Would you slow

Why can't we just play one series each year and flip flop the location annually?
I would have loved to have made the trip to Fenway or Yankee stadium to see the Cubs. We miss them because of the damn WhiteSox .
The series between the two has lost a little something anyway. 6 games a year is way too much in

Well, behind Ryan Dempster's outstanding performance, the Cubs took 3 of 4 from San Diego, 3 of 3 from Arizona, and now they get three AT HOME against the Pirates, who the Cubs are a perfect 6-0 against this seaso

Alright, so earlier today I read a post talking about guys who had come to the Cubs late in their careers and revived their career. I believe some of the names were Rod Beck, Todd Hollandsworth, etc.....
I was looking for this post to tell a friend about. We like to pull old names out of the archives. For instance, I recentl

No doubt the most obnoxious, unknowledgeable group of trash. Good luck to you guys, I hope you finally win the series this year so we don't have hear they won the series 3 years ago. What have they done since then. Talk about living in the past. Show this city how to throw a party when you win it all.

I don't know if any of you guys have noticed this, but isn't it weird how many former players/coaches end out working in the Chicago Cubs' organization in some way (most notably in commentary), even if their tenure in Chicago as a player or coach was short-lived? My prime examples are: Bob Brenly (None), Dan Plesac

Dear Mr Soriano
I sincerely apologize to you for some of the comments I have made about you throughout the season. You have proven to me that you are indeed just a slow starter and that you can get it going later in the year. It turns out you may not be the worst Cub I have ever seen. With that being said, I still dislike the way you play the game. You are a horr

Well, it looks like Jim Edmonds will be a Cub any minute now, assuming he clears waivers...(do you think the Cardinals may veto the move? lol). As I said before, I like the move because it is low-risk. You're not demoting a guy with a multi-million dollar contract, and you're getting Jim Edmonds very cheap. If he does well, it's a steal, a

Well, it finally happened. After two years in the minors and coming in from the bullpen, my superstar player in MLB '08: Road to the Show threw a no-hitter against the Cincinnati Reds yesterday evening. The 20-year old rookie with a 95-mph fastball and a devasting slurve missed a perfect game wh
