Pistons report: Roster
ROTATION PLAYER NOTES --Power forward Antonio McDyess played Game 5 with a heavy heart. He learned when he arrived at the arena that his 84-year-old grandmother, Beatrice Harris, had passed away. McDyess was extremely close to her and could have been excused for not playing or having a bad game. Instead, he scored 17 points and dug out six offensive rebounds. "It was an emotional game for him and the people that knew," coach Flip Saunders said. "For him to play the way he played, what can you say? He played like someone was playing with him." --Power forward Amir Johnson was inactive the last two games of the series. Johnson was a victim of Chauncey Billups' injury; the Pistons activated Lindsey Hunter and Juan Dixon to increase their options at point guard. --Small forward Tayshaun Prince has scored in double digits in every game during this playoff run. Prince won his matchups with Andre Iguodala and Hedo Turkoglu, which played a large role in the Pistons advancing in less than seven games each series. --Center Rasheed Wallace missed all six of his 3-point attempts in Game 5. That dropped his 3-point percentage to 37.1 for the postseason. Copyright (C) 2008 The Sports Xchange. All Rights Reserved.
