MOST VALUABLE PLAYER
Center Andrew Bogut took a significant step toward justifying the Bucks making him the No. 1 overall selection in the 2005 NBA draft. After registering 12 double-doubles as a rookie and then 19 double-doubles last year, the 23-year-old Bogut finished with 38 double-doubles this season.

MOST DISAPPOINTING PLAYER
After he signed a lucrative six-year, $51 million contract last summer, big things were expected from Mo Williams. But while the point guard averaged 17.2 points and 6.3 assists, he was a sieve on defense and did a poor job of getting his teammates involved in the offense. What's more, Williams had issues with some teammates and coaches, including a heated exchange with assistant coach Tony Brown.

FREE AGENT FOCUS
Every one of the Bucks' regular starters -- Mo Williams, Michael Redd, Desmond Mason, Yi Jianlian and Andrew Bogut -- along with their top reserves -- Charlie Villanueva, Desmond Mason and Charlie Bell -- is under contract for next season. The only players who will become free agents -- all unrestricted -- on July 1 are Jake Voskuhl, Michael Ruffin and Royal Ivey. The Bucks have a team option on Awvee Storey.

It's unlikely the Bucks will make any concerted effort to retain any of those players as they are expected to make sweeping changes.

PLAYER NOTES

--C Andrew Bogut is in line for a contract extension this summer and is expected to sign a five-year deal. Bogut and his agent, David Bauman, can officially start negotiations on July 1, the start of free agency.

--The Bucks will have three players competing in the Summer Olympics: Bogut will play for Australia, Yi Jianlian will play for host China and Michael Redd will play for the United States.

--Rookie G Ramon Sessions has worked out daily at the Bucks' training complex since the end of the regular season. Sessions has already committed to playing for the Bucks in the Las Vegas Summer League in July.

Hey it would be Great! to get upto 1 or 2 and get Rose not counting on it though, PLEASE DON'T TAKE THAT OVER-HYPT NO LOAD

ERIC GORDON! I'll be so disappointed with that, especially since it's a possibility w/ Sampson on our staff now.

I'd rather see that Italian Guy or Chris Douglass roberts than him. Time to chime in now Buck loyalists.

With Ramon Sessions budding play, what do the Bucks do with him? Do they give him an opportunity to play by trading Mo Williams, or do you have him as an amazing point guard tandem?

I like the new coaching staff the Bucks have in place but at the same time I wonder if they were the right moves for the Bucks to get better? What are your thoughts?

WHO SHOULD THE Bucks DRAFT IF THEY END UP WITH THE #1 PICK??

I BELIEVE THEY SHOULD TAKE ROSE. THEY HAVEN'T HAD A GOOD POINT GUARD SINCE JAY HUMPHRIES(LOL). THE NBA IS PROVING THAT A GREAT POINT GUARD CAN CONTROL THE GAME SIMILAR TO THE COLLEGE GAME.

I can see that sman1965 bothers almost every team on their message board. While trash talking is fun, just seeing this guys posts makes me fell like I am back in the 3rd grade.

I am proposing a boycott of any thread he starts, and to any posts he makes on other threads as well...

Maybe he will start to talk smart sports conversation or maybe he will jus ...(more)

Think about it, Detorit, Clevland, Atlanta, Toronto, Orlando, Washington, Boston and Philadelphia all made the playoffs. Indiana is getting better and New Jersey is goingto be tough. Miami will be back with a healthy D-wade. Where do the Milwaukee Bucks stack up in a eastern Confrence that appears to be getting better? Any thoughts fellas?

On ESPN there's rumors that Kelvin Sampson is headed to the Bucks as an assassint coach.  Buck fans do you think this is a good thing or a bad thing?

It is obvious the Bucks need to do a lot of work in the offseason to make the team somewhat competitive. There are a lot of things that need to change. What do you think the Bucks should do?

You all laughed when i said Ramon Sessions is a good player and will probably be the next Micheal Redd but acutally passes the ball. Well he took one step closer to being something great with 20 pts 24 asts. and 8 rebounds so im going to take this moment and shove the $hit right back into the peoples mouth that said t ...(more)
