Bucks report: Getting inside
Contrary to public sentiment, new Bucks general manager John Hammond doesn't have any intentions of making massive changes to the team's roster this summer. Hammond said he believes the Bucks' roster has several "assets" on it, and is especially intrigued by the talent and potential of center Andrew Bogut and power forward Yi Jianlian. Hammond has also publicly stated he likes the Bucks' starting backcourt of point guard Mo Williams and shooting guard Michael Redd, whom he called a "great player." The one position Hammond said he'll likely address, though, is small forward. Veterans Desmond Mason and Bobby Simmons manned that spot last season and produced modest results. Ideally, the Bucks want a small forward who has a well-rounded game and doesn't have the limitations of Mason -- no perimeter game -- and Simmons -- no interior game.
