Bucks report: Roster
DRAFT PICKS Joe Alexander, F, 6-8, West Virginia -- He was largely unknown to the general public until piling up 22 points and 11 rebounds in an NCAA Tournament upset of Duke last March. Alexander also proved to be surprisingly athletic. His three-quarter court sprint time of 2.99 seconds was second-fastest at the Orlando predraft camp. Luc Mbah a Moute, F, 6-8, UCLA -- This undersized power forward did much of the dirty work while UCLA reached the Final Four for the past three seasons. The Cameroon native averaged 8.8 points and 6.0 rebounds last year as a junior. BIGGEST NEEDS FREE AGENT FOCUS PLAYER NOTES --The Bucks were hopeful G Ramon Sessions, last year's second-round pick, would play well enough in Las Vegas to earn himself a spot in the regular-season rotation. And while the club signed G Tyronn Lue to add to the point-guard equation, Sessions did his part, leading the Bucks to a 4-1 record by averaging team-bests in points (15.3) and assists (7.3). --Ex-Spur G Darius Washington spent much of his Las Vegas trip watching Sessions, his competition, but then took advantage of his rival's absence to score 18 points against the Timberwolves. However, with Lue having joined the point-guard mix, it is likely Washington will have to find another home for training camp. Copyright (C) 2008 The Sports Xchange. All Rights Reserved.
