--The Spurs remained unbeaten at home this postseason with Thursday's Game 3 win over the Hornets. Dating back to last season, San Antonio has won 10 consecutive playoff games at home.

--Game 4 is scheduled for Sunday night in San Antonio, with the series now assured a fifth game, which will be Tuesday night in New Orleans.

--In seven games played between the two teams this season, no final score has been closer than nine points.

--The Spurs improved to 3-0 against the Hornets this season when holding them under 100 points. New Orleans is 4-0 when scoring in triple figures.

--The Spurs outscored the Hornets 33-6 from beyond the three-point arc, limiting the visitors to 2-for-11 shooting after they had scorched the nets at a 51.9-percent clip (14 of 27) from deep in their two home games.

--The NBA announced before the game that the Hornets' Chris Paul had been selected to the All-NBA first team, Tim Duncan to the second team and Manu Ginobili to the third team.

--Ginobili, who earlier this postseason captured the league's Sixth Man Award, started Thursday's game. It was his first start of the series.

--Tony Parker and Ginobili both scored 31 points in the win. It was just the third time in the last 15 years that starters from the same backcourt each scored 30 or more points in a playoff game.

QUOTE TO NOTE
"We defended the three-point line better and I think that was kind of the key." -- Spurs power forward Tim Duncan, on limiting the Hornets to six points on three-point shots in Game 3 after they had tallied 30 in their Game 2 win Monday.

..him, Bruce Bowen and Pop. make me sick. Everyone knows that Pop sends Robert Horry out as an NHL coach sends out his enforcer to do the dirty work and try to injure the other teams star player.

1st he checks ...(more)

Alright, no excuses, we need to win both games. PERIOD. Let's do this, only good vibes people, no negative crap.

I don't wanna say game 6 is a "gimmie"  because it's anything but that. The Spurs need to play with a lot of energy. They need a blowout win against the ...(more)

Go Utah to take that series to 7 games so neither team gets extra rest.  That way WHEN the Spurs beat New Orleans Monday night, Utah and LA will be playing their game 7 later that night.  With all the Hornets injuries I wish we were playing Saturday night for the wrapup. ...(more)

Every game is a must win in the playoffs, game 5 is no diffenrent. This will be a "momentum changing" game for one team. Hopefully it's the Spurs.

I think the Spurs have already won the series (knock on wood). I'm not trying to be cocky be any means however, the Spurs are looking stronger after these past 2 home ...(more)

The adjustments Pop made were pretty cool.....

Putting Manu in the starting line up forced Paul & Parker to cancel each other out on the offensive & defensive sides of the Court.... since Paul could no longer gaurd the slower Michael Finley.... (Which was KILLING the ...(more)

I think the Spurs are like Andre Agassi, in the sense that, in his later years, when Andre knew he couldn't get to a ball, he wouldn't, when he saw a weakness in his opponent, he gave that extra effort, and when it counted, he gave maximum effort while conserving his body and energy for precise moments during the game.  The Spu ...(more)

Okay, the same things aren't working like they did against the Suns.

Tony & Manu aren't able to run these young guys off the court like the Suns.

I propose a new strategy.

The Spurs did show some signs of getting into th ...(more)
