--In finishing with 27 points and 20 rebounds Friday, Carlos Boozer enjoyed his biggest game since he totaled 34 points and 17 rebounds in the Jazz's March 28 victory over the L.A. Clippers. The 20 rebounds were a playoff career high for Boozer.

--The Jazz made 12 of 19 shots in the second quarter in building a 13-point lead. They played from behind against the Lakers for most of Games 1 and 2 after falling behind by double digits in the first half.

--The Jazz improved to 41-5 this season at EnergySolutions Arena -- 37-4 in the regular season and 4-1 in the playoffs. The Lakers are one of four teams to beat the Jazz in Utah this season, having ended their 19-game home winning streak on March 20.

--Deron Williams and Carlos Boozer were named to the all-NBA second and third team, respectively. They become the first Jazz players to be selected all-NBA since Karl Malone in the 2000-2001 season. Williams was joined on the second team by Dirk Nowitzki, Tim Duncan, Amare Stoudemire and Steve Nash.

QUOTE TO NOTE
"Everybody goes through a stage when things are tough on them, but I think he has to do the work and he certainly did it tonight." -- Jazz coach Jerry Sloan on Carlos Boozer's breakthrough game.

It's pretty simple.  I check in on this board regularly, since I am a Jazz fan.  However, there has been very little substance to reply to.  So, to have some fun during the slow times, and in between talking about Carlos Boozer and ...(more)

(POLL)

A mere 15 games into this NBA season the Jazz have already missed 44 games due to injury.  This alarming statistic already eclipses last year's entire season total of 42 games missed.

In your opinion who is most vulnerable to injury from this group of five?

Cuba Gooding Jr screamed "show me the money" in Jerry Maguire.  We showed CJ the money last summer now I'm screaming "show me the jumpshot".
