Starters -- Point guard Antonio Daniels, Shooting guard DeShawn Stevenson, Small forward Caron Butler, Power forward Antawn Jamison, Center Brendan Haywood. Bench -- Forward Andray Blatche, Guard Nick Young, Guard Roger Mason, Forward Darius Songaila.

PLAYER NOTES

--F Caron Butler is one of just two players in the playoffs averaging at least 18 points, five rebounds, four assists and two steals per game.

--F Antawn Jamison is just one of five players in the playoffs averaging 15 points and 11 rebounds.

--G Nick Young, so promising during the regular season, averaged just over four minutes per game in six playoff games.

With all due respect to Nick Young, who clearly has the skills to be a decent SG in this league, I'm not sure we kept the right guard. Young has leaping ability; able to "posterize" much taller men, but is he what this team needs at this point in time? No, he's not an Iverson, but he has th ...(more)

i think tht if we sign gil we need to change something gil and deshawn are both sg's......we have a natural pg in ad and if we move deshawn to the bench tht will put gil at his natural position where he can be more effective and have a great ball handler and penetraton guy in ad.........tht also solves some of the defense and scoring problems by being able to bring deshawn in to give more peop ...(more)

I know he had a "career" year at 9ppg, but I am glad we did not pay this clown what the Spurs are going to pay him.... 7.5M over two years!! Wow.

Now, we need a good SG to fill the void or does Nick Young make the lead this year.
