The Redskins and backup QB Todd Collins have agreed to terms on a new contract. The Washington Post says he has signed a three-year deal. He is expected to be the backup behind Jason Campbell. "I think my intentions at end of last year were, if I had an opportunity to play that was the objective," Collins said. "I wanted to take a look around, but there didn't seem to be any viable spots to start, and once that wasn't a possibility I said all along I was open to coming back to Washington, and I'm happy to be back and with team and hope the guys continue with what we did last year."
