Eagles QB Donovan McNabb wasn't exactly thrilled with the team's offseason so far, especially since they didn't add many experienced playmakers on offense as McNabb had hoped. McNabb said the Eagles cannot expect their rookies "to come in and make a thousand plays for us." The list would include WR DeSean Jackson and RB Lorenzo Booker, technically not a rookie but considered part of the draft via a draft-day trade for a pick. McNabb rolled his eyes upon being asked if the Eagles could have been any more aggressive stocking this team with playmakers in the offseason. McNabb said of the changes made thus far by the Eagles, "It wasn't to my likeness, it was for the team." McNabb's views dont necessarily reflect the understanding he has with Andy Reid. "I know he likes the new additions that are out there," Reid said. "Other than that I really haven't gone into all that with him." (Updated 05/05/2008).

Fantasy Analysis
McNabb totaled 3,324 yards on 291-of-473 passing (61.5 pct.; 7.03 yards per attempt) with 19 touchdowns and just seven interceptions in 2007, adding 236 rush yards on 50 carries (4.7 avg.) and five fumbles lost. He now gets a rookie WR in Jackson to go with Kevin Curtis and Reggie Brown. McNabb also will depend a lot on Brian Westbrook, so despite the lack of moves in the offseason, McNabb should still be viewed as a No. 1 option. He also will be two years removed from his ACL injury, so his health should be fine. Consider taking him with a middle-round selection in all Fantasy leagues. (Updated 05/05/2008).
QB Donovan McNabb sat out the Eagles' final minicamp practice. Reid said he was on a pitch count at the minicamp and reached his limit the day before. The coach insisted the quarterback's arm was fine. 05/08/2008
