Forty-seven-year-old kicker Morten Andersen reprised his role as the Falcons' kicker for the second year in a row, hitting 25-of-28 field goals and all 24 of his attempted extra points. Anderson's leg proved to be iffy from 40 or more yards: he was 4-of-7 from 40-to-49 yards out, and the team didn't let him attempt any 50-plus-yard field goals (punter Michael Koenen handled those). He was perfect from 20-to-39 yards out, however. (Updated 01/09/2008).

Fantasy Analysis
Andersen is scheduled to be a free agent again, which just means he'll "retire" until the Falcons come calling in 2008. He's not worth drafting, but he's not the worst kicking option as a bye-week replacement. Keep him in mind for that role next season if he's back with the Falcons. (Updated 01/09/2008).
