Huard, Thigpen compete for No. 2 job: The Kansas City Star is reporting Chiefs QB Damon Huard will not have his job so clearly defined. Huard spent the last four weeks as the No. 3 quarterback, behind second-year passer Tyler Thigpen. Thigpen spent most of last season on the practice squad, before a knee injury ended his season four games early. Thigpen ended organized team activities as starter Brodie Croyle's backup, but Edwards said Huard will be in the mix when the team starts camp July 25. Huard started 10 games last year and passed for 2,257 yards and 11 touchdowns.
