With their second-round pick, the Ravens selected RB Ray Rice, bolstering their RB depth. Coming into the draft, Baltimore had just three running backs on the roster. Does this mean that Willis McGahee is going to lose some reps or perhaps even split carries? The Ravens don't appear to be leaning that way. "We think adding Ray Rice gives us a guy that we feel has the durability to play 16 games, if he had to, if Willis in some case got injured," Ravens GM Ozzie Newsome explained. "He brings the type of temperament and the type of character that we want on our football team." (Updated 04/29/2008).

Fantasy Analysis
We liked Rice a lot coming out of Rutgers and suspect that the Ravens will find a role for him. However, McGahee is still expected to get near 20 touches per game. In his first year with the Ravens, McGahee rushed for 1,207 yards and seven touchdowns. He also set a career-high with 43 catches for 231 yards and a touchdown. He was Baltimore's best offensive player and will enter this season in his prime at 27 years old. He should still be considered a low-end No. 1 Fantasy RB, worth a late first-round pick in all drafts, even with the arrival of Rice. (Updated 04/29/2008).
