Patriots defensive back Willie Andrews was arrested during a traffic stop Tuesday on charges of possession of marijuana and driving an unregistered motor vehicle. The morning arrest came one day after the team returned from Arizona, where the New York Giants upset New England 17-14 in the Super Bowl to end the Patriots' perfect season. Andrews was to be arraigned Tuesday in Lowell District Court, said Corey Welford, a spokesman for the Middlesex district attorney. Welford did not have further details. (Updated 02/05/2008).

Fantasy Analysis
Andrews will be subject to a suspension by the NFL for violating the league's personal conduct policy. But Fantasy owners shouldn't care as Andrews isn't productive enough for Fantasy use anyway. (Updated 02/05/2008).

Advice
The 24-year-old Andrews admitted in court Friday there was enough evidence to convict him at trial, but did not plead guilty. Lowell District Court Judge Neil Walker continued the case without a finding for a year. During that time, Andrews must speak to student athletes about the dangers of narcotics, pay a $1,000 fine and complete an NFL substance abuse program.
