Jaguars make receiver switch: The Jaguars re-signed receiver Charles Sharon to the active roster Friday and waived receiver Chad Owens. The move gives Jacksonville extra insurance in case starter Reggie Williams can't play Saturday night at New England. Williams (back) missed practice Thursday, but went through light drills Friday and was expected to play. Sharon spent the entire regular season and the first week of the postseason on Jacksonville's practice squad. Owens was signed to the practice squad Nov. 8 and moved to the active roster Dec. 28.
