Bobby McCray, a free-agent defensive end who spent the past four seasons with the Jacksonville Jaguars, agreed to a five-year contract with the New Orleans Saints on Sunday. Financial terms were not disclosed. McCray has 94 tackles, 22 sacks and seven forced fumbles in 61 regular-season games. He had a career-high 10 sacks in 2006. "Bobby is a player we identified as being able to come in and help us in the defensive line rotation," Saints general manager Mickey Loomis said. (Updated 03/03/2008).

Fantasy Analysis
McCray went from 10 sacks in 2006 to only three in 2007. He also added 18 tackles and one forced fumble in 14 games. If McCray is not getting to the quarterback he's not much help in Fantasy leagues. Consider him a low-end option in IDP leagues heading into 2008 and hope for more double-digit seasons in sacks. (Updated 03/03/2008).
