Bills coach Dick Jauron knows new rookie WR James Hardy is big (6-foot-5), but the only thing bigger might be the expectations the Bills have of him. With Hardy, the Bills see the potential to open up their passing attack. As he showed during his first day of practice, Hardy has good hands to catch the ball over the middle and is able to bend down and reach back for passes on quick outs along the sideline as well. "He's a 6-foot-5 receiver, and we've got to score," Jauron said, referring to an offense that produced 20 touchdowns last year -- a franchise low in a 16-game season. "Hopefully, he'll provide us with a lot more opportunity to score and make more plays, the plays that we need." (Updated 05/05/2008).

Fantasy Analysis
Hardy has amazing size (over 6-foot-5) with excellent vertical abilities and hands. Experience is a small issue, as is his route running, but he should be a candidate for as many as six touchdowns with Buffalo as a rookie, and more as he grows into the NFL. Figure him to be a middle-end reserve Fantasy WR. He's well worth a middle- to late-round pick in all seasonal Fantasy leagues and is a top-15 pick in rookie-only drafts this summer.
