Keep an eye on what happens, but this is not a good sign that he is scheduled to miss the start of training camp. The Bengals are considering adding RB Shaun Alexander, which would push Irons down on the depth chart. For now, Irons has minimal Fantasy value. (Updated 05/09/2008)
The Bengals are deep at tailback. In addition to Rudi Johnson and Perry, they have Kenny Watson (whose 763 rushing yards and seven touchdowns led the team in 2007) and DeDe Dorsey (who had an 8.7-yard average on 21 attempts). They, too, were on the field Tuesday. Perry will compete for playing time but has minimal Fantasy value at this time. Consider him a low-end Fantasy option in 2008 if he is guaranteed a few carries each week. (Updated 05/14/2008)
