After reconstructive surgery two years ago, he returned to rush for 1,057 yards in 2006, helping the Saints to the NFC South title and starring in their playoff victory over Philadelphia. He will be 29 when the season starts with just over 1,300 carries on his odometer. We expect to see him at training camp. Consider him a low-end No. 3 Fantasy RB option with lots of upside as well as injury risk. When healthy, he's a great generator of production for the Saints and for his Fantasy owners. Bush gained 581 yards rushing and 417 yards receiving last year with six touchdowns. But he was never able to produce consistently as the team's featured back after starter Deuce McAllister went down with a season-ending knee injury in the third week of the season. Bush also ranked among the league leaders in dropped passes, with 10, and fumbles, with eight, three of which were lost. Despite the poor season, expect Bush to come back as a top-flight Fantasy option in 2008. He should be considered a No. 2 Fantasy RB and someone worth drafting in the middle of round two or in round three. (Updated 03/19/2008)
Campbell might be motivated to play well in 2008 because he's in a contract year, but he's never posted big stats consistently. Keep him off of Fantasy Football rosters. (Updated 01/30/2008)
McKenzie is the one quality cornerback that the Saints have, so chances are they'll hang on to him even though he's hurt and his salary cap number escalates over the next two seasons. Because of the knee injury, McKenzie is not worth drafting outside of a late-round flier in the deepest of IDP leagues this summer. (Updated 01/30/2008)
